History of Fairfields
Fairfields is one of MK newest developments, with construction beginning in the mid-2010s on former farmland in western Milton Keynes. It was planned as a modern, family-focused community with a purpose-built primary school, community parks and a new-build specification throughout. The development is still expanding, with new phases being built. It represents the latest phase of MK western expansion, adjacent to the established Emerson Valley and Tattenhoe areas.

Road access
The A421 is accessible within a few minutes, connecting to the M1 at Junction 14 (about 5 minutes) and east toward CMK. Grid roads connect to CMK in about 12 minutes. The A5 is accessible for north-south travel.
Rail connections
There is no train station in Fairfields. Milton Keynes Central is approximately 15 minutes by car, offering fast services to London Euston in 32-35 minutes. Bletchley station (10 minutes by car) also serves London Euston.
Getting around
Car-dependent. M1 Junction 14 5 min drive for Northampton and Birmingham. CMK 12 min drive. MK Central station 15 min for London trains.

Fairfields Community Park is the central green hub with play areas and walking routes. The western edge of the estate meets countryside fields and cycle routes. Tattenhoe Valley Park is nearby for woodland and meadow walks.

Westcroft District Centre is about 10 minutes by car with a Sainsbury, Boots and other stores. Fairfields has limited local retail currently, with more planned as the development matures. CMK shopping centres are 12 minutes by car.
Healthcare
Fairfields is served by GP practices in the nearby Westcroft and Emerson Valley areas. Westcroft has a pharmacy. Milton Keynes University Hospital is approximately 15 minutes by car.
